Desk: Rohit Shetty, one of the big filmmakers of Bollywood, has been in the news for the last few days. The reason for discussion is not a film but the firing that took place at his house. The police have achieved a major success in the case of firing at Rohit’s house. Till now, a total of 6 people have been detained in this case. Now news is coming that another shooter has been arrested.
According to information received from sources, Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested another suspected shooter from Rajasthan, who was absconding since this incident in February. Earlier, in a major joint operation, Haryana’s STF and Mumbai Police’s Anti-Extortion Cell had exposed the conspiracy by arresting 4 main accused of Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
The arrested accused include Hrithik Yadav, Sunny and Sonu from Agra, while the fourth accused Deepak is a resident of Noida. In the initial investigation, it has become clear that on the night of 31 January 2026, these miscreants, at the behest of the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang, had opened fire on the house of director Rohit Shetty with the intention of extorting huge extortion and spreading terror.
After 4 arrests in Bahadurgarh, Mumbai Crime Branch expanded the scope of its investigation and conducted raids in Rajasthan. Another suspected shooter has been caught from there. According to police sources, this accused was present at the spot at the time of the firing incident and since then was living in hiding in Rajasthan. At present the police is thoroughly interrogating all the accused and investigating the matter.
