Fraudsters are sending this app as an APK file (side-loading link) instead of Google Play Store. As soon as an employee clicks on this link and installs the app, the complete control of his phone goes to the hackers. How does this dangerous app work? According to cyber experts, this app becomes active in the background as soon as it is installed in the phone and steals the following sensitive information: OTP Access: Thugs read the OTP of the bank coming on your phone without your knowledge. Banking Details: Passwords and net banking information saved in the phone get stolen. Data Theft: Access to your contacts, gallery and messages goes to hackers. What did the government say? The government has clarified that the Finance Ministry or any government department has not launched any official app to calculate the 8th Pay Commission.
