Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren visited his native village Nemra in Ramgarh district on Monday. There, in the presence of the Chief Minister, Nike Baba (Pahan) was selected under the traditional election of Santhali community. The Chief Minister presided over the electoral process and participated fully from beginning to end. On this occasion, the Chief Minister respected the social and religious traditions not only as the Head of the State but also as the Manjhi Hadam of the Santhali community of his native village.
