Shankaracharya’s statement: The criminal who accused me of misdeeds is linked to cow slaughterers
Bureau Prayagraj. Shankaracharya Avimukteshwarananda has reacted to the allegations of sexual exploitation against him and the ongoing case in the court. Citing the criminal history of the accuser Ashutosh Brahmachari, he said that this entire controversy is related to his campaign for cow protection. The court will decide on February 21 whether an FIR will be registered in the case or the petition will be dismissed.
Shankaracharya Avimukteshwarananda, while talking to the media, completely rejected the allegations against him. He said that those who are themselves history sitters. Those who have connections with cow killers. Today they are knocking the doors of the court against him. He says that he has presented his views before the court. He has full faith in the justice system.
It is noteworthy that Jagadguru Rambhadracharya’s disciple and Shakumbhari Peethadhishwar Ashutosh Brahmachari has filed a case in the court accusing Shankaracharya of sexually exploiting two disciples. The court has reserved the decision after hearing the arguments of both the sides. On February 21, it will be clear whether an FIR will be registered against Shankaracharya or the case will be dismissed.
Shankaracharya hit back at the accuser and said that his past has been associated with controversies. He claimed that such reports had already appeared in the media. In which allegations of links with people associated with cow smuggling and cow slaughter were made. He says that some people are running a campaign against him because of his campaign to stop cow protection and cow slaughter.
On the question of his security, Shankaracharya said that he never asked for security from anyone. It is the responsibility of the government to protect the citizens. If the state feels the need, it will take its own decision. He said that his faith is in God and society.
On the relationship between religion and politics, he said that the society should think seriously on this subject. According to him, the roles of religious and political leadership should remain separate. Regarding the upcoming 2027 elections, he said that he does not support any particular person. He believes that whoever becomes the Chief Minister, he should be law abiding and sensitive towards the public. The public decides the leadership.
