‘SP insulted the woman governor’, Yogi Adityanath lashed out at the opposition in the Legislative Council
Addressing the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Made a scathing attack on Samajwadi Party (UP Vidhan Parishad). CM Yogi alleged that Samajwadi Party has insulted the woman governor and her conduct is against democratic norms.
The Chief Minister said that the Governor’s address is an important document of the achievements and future plans of the government, but the behavior of the main opposition party was not in accordance with the dignity of the constitutional post. He said that the Governor is the constitutional head of the state and this kind of behavior towards her weakens democracy. CM Yogi called it a violation of constitutional norms.
Yogi Adityanath, targeting the opposition, said that during the rule of Samajwadi Party, Uttar Pradesh had become a den of crime (UP Vidhan Parishad). He said that before 2017, goons and mafia were running a parallel government in the state. The Chief Minister claimed that during the tenure of his government, there has been a historic improvement in the law and order of the state.
The Chief Minister said that today there is neither curfew nor riots in Uttar Pradesh and the state is moving forward on the path of development. He said that UP has now become a safe, peaceful and investment friendly state (UP Vidhan Parishad).
Yogi Adityanath also said that the soul of India resides in Uttar Pradesh and the state is now moving forward with a new identity. After this statement of CM Yogi, the political atmosphere in the House became heated and a heated argument was witnessed between the ruling party and the opposition.
