Mohali, February 16, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was re-admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali on Monday evening just hours after he had left the hospital to attend a major political rally in Moga.
According to sources, the Chief Minister returned to Mohali following his participation in the highly hyped rally at Killi Chahlan village in Moga district. Shortly after reaching Mohali, he was again admitted to Fortis Hospital around 8 pm for medical observation and treatment.
Mann had earlier been admitted to the same hospital on Sunday after his blood pressure reportedly rose suddenly. Although he remained under medical supervision, he was allowed to leave temporarily on Monday to fulfill his scheduled public engagement in Moga.
Prior to his hospitalization on Sunday, Mann along with AAP Convener Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Incharge Manish Siodia, paid obeisance at a temple in Ranike village in Sangrur district on the occasion of Mahashivratri.
Attended Rally Despite Health Concerns
Earlier in the day, there had been uncertainty over his participation in the rally due to his health condition. However, the Chief Minister later confirmed his attendance through a social media post and subsequently traveled to Moga, where he addressed party workers and supporters.
Doctors Keeping Close Watch
Following his return to Fortis Hospital, a team of doctors is closely monitoring his condition. Medical experts are expected to assess his health overnight before taking further decisions regarding his treatment and discharge.
No official medical bulletin had been issued at the time of filing this report, but sources indicated that his condition is under observation and appropriate care is being provided.
Mann’s sudden re-admission has drawn attention amid his busy political schedule and ongoing public engagements across the state.
