About her role, Pooja said, “Preet Bajwa comes from a simple Punjabi family, where men dominate. She lived her life at the behest of her brother first and then her husband. But now she wants to take control of her life. She is no longer worried about what people say. She wants to live for herself first. Everything else is secondary to her now. She doesn’t care what people think, what her family says. Not even her husband and children. She is not hers. No one is afraid of decisions. Now she wants to live freely. It was not easy for Pooja to portray the role of Preet. She said, “If the story is well-written, the work is easy. First we had a detailed discussion with our directors Sudeep Sir and Faisal. They introduced me to Preet’s world in a very simple and clear way. Then we had a workshop with our acting coach Nitin Goyal. He helped me and Ranvijay a lot to understand the relationship between our roles. It was a very special experience, but also emotionally exhausting.”

A lot of preparation was done to show the husband-wife relationship in the story. These workshops enabled Pooja and Ranvijay to portray the tension and emotions of their roles in a realistic manner.
