India AI Impact Summit 2026: World’s largest AI event in New Delhi
New Delhi is going to become the global capital of technology from 16 to 20 February 2026. India AI Impact Summit 2026 has started, in which tech leaders, CEOs, AI researchers and policy makers from about 100 countries are participating. It will also present an important AI exhibition, in which many luminaries will share their views.
Which big tech CEOs will be included?
The summit is expected to include a number of prominent tech CEOs, including:
- Sundar Pichai (CEO of Google and Alphabet)
- Sam Altman (CEO of OpenAI)
- Bill Gates (Gates Foundation, Microsoft)
- Demis Hassabis (CEO of Google DeepMind)
- Dario Amodei (CEO of Anthropic)
- Matthew Prince (CEO of Cloudflare)
- Shantanu Narayan (CEO of Adobe)
- Vijay Shekhar Sharma (CEO of Paytm)
These global leaders will be included
The event will also see the presence of many global leaders, such as:
- French President Emmanuel Macron
- Bhutan’s Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay
- Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva
- Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of the United Arab Emirates
Highlights of India AI Summit 2026
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the event on February 16, which is the same Bharat Mandapam where the G20 summit was held in 2023.
What will happen in the summit?
The following things will happen in this historic summit:
- more than 500 sessions
- More than 3,250 speakers and panelists
- Participation of over 600 high-potential startups
- AI expo spread over 70,000 square meters
Pavilions of 13 countries
Pavilions from 13 countries will be set up here, which include Australia, Japan, United Kingdom, Germany, and many others.
Expo divided into three ‘cycles’
AI Impact Expo is divided into three major themes:
- People (AI for people)
- Planet (AI for the Environment)
- Progress (AI for development)
There will be over 300 exhibition pavilions and live demos, such as showcasing the use of AI in agriculture, education, and healthcare.
IndiaAI Mission and 12 indigenous AI models
Under the IndiaAI Mission, India will introduce 12 indigenous AI foundation models. These models have been developed by Indian startups and are based on large data sets from 22 Indian languages across the globe.
