Congress freed Legislative Council, SP should improve its conduct otherwise it will be thrown out of the House: CM Yogi
Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath fiercely targeted Congress and Samajwadi Party in the Legislative Council on Monday. He said that Congress has been out of the Legislative Council and SP should take a lesson from it. If SP makes unrestrained statements and insults great men, it may be thrown out of the Assembly and Council. CM said that people give respect only when they play the role of responsible opposition. He appealed to the opposition not to put the new identity of the state in jeopardy.
UP is moving forward as the base of ‘Ramrajya’
The Chief Minister said that Uttar Pradesh is progressing in every field today. Confidence has increased among villages, poor, farmers, youth and women. Law and order has strengthened in the state, criminals are afraid and the investment environment has improved. He said that the government’s aim is to make UP a one trillion dollar economy by 2029-30 and the budget has been presented in that direction.
SP accused of misleading
CM Yogi alleged that Samajwadi Party could neither do good work nor have a positive discussion on the budget. He said that under the double engine government, the vision of the Prime Minister is being taken forward strongly in the state.
Mention of SIR process and Election Commission
The Chief Minister said that the SIR action is being taken by the Election Commission of India, in which the government has no role. He said that lakhs of people have been found absent, dead or shifted. While explaining the usefulness of the process of Form-6, Form-7 and Form-8, the CM accused the opposition of spreading confusion. Also alleged that SP workers are misbehaving with the personnel associated with SIR, which is unacceptable.
Claim of improvement in education sector
The Chief Minister said that the education system in the state has improved. Teaching of new technologies (AI, drones, robotics) has been started in Operation Kayakalp, Atal Residential School, CM Composite School and ITI. About 75 universities are functioning in the state, which are emerging as centers of higher education.
