PM Modi will visit Israel on 25-26 February

Jerusalem: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Israel on a two-day visit from February 25 to 26. He made this announcement while addressing a conference of presidents of major American Jewish organizations. Addressing the gathering, Netanyahu said, “Preparations are underway to deliver a speech in Parliament. Who is coming here next week? Narendra Modi.”

Netanyahu said, “There is a tremendous alliance between Israel and India, and we are going to discuss all kinds of cooperation. Now, you know, India is not a small country. It has a population of 1.4 billion. India is extremely powerful and extremely popular.”

A Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT) was signed between the two countries in September itself. The Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT) was signed during the visit of Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich. Earlier, during the visit of Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal to Israel in November last year, many important agreements were also signed, in which Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and TOR were signed.

It is noteworthy that relations between India and Israel have been very strong and cordial. PM Modi and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are also good friends and meet each other with great warmth.
