7-seater family car to be launched today, will give direct competition to Triber, how affordable is the price?

Nissan Gravity Launch: If you were waiting to get a 7-seater family car in the budget, then your search may end today. Nissan launches its new sub-4 meter MPV Nissan Gravity Is launching. It is believed that its starting ex-showroom price could be around Rs 6 lakh. This car will directly compete with Renault’s famous MPV Renault Triber.

According to market reports, the starting price of Nissan Gravitite could start around ₹6 lakh, while the top variant could go up to ₹9 lakh. Both the vehicles are built on the same platform, hence there can be a tough competition in price and features. The company will reveal all the variants and final prices at the time of launch.

New look, strong road presence

An attempt has been made to give Gravite a distinct identity in terms of design. The large front grille and sharp bumper give it a slightly longer and stronger look. The LED light setup may be similar to the Triber, but the DRL design has been slightly modified. The raised lines on the bonnet make its road presence more powerful.

Dual-tone cabin and 7-seater flexibility

The car is expected to get a black-white dual-tone theme inside, which will make the cabin look more open and premium. It will be a three-row MPV, with the third row of seats being removable to provide larger boot space. There is a possibility of slide and recline function in the second row, which will be good for family use.

What engine and features will be available?

Gravite can get a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which will give about 72 bhp power and 96 Nm torque. Transmission options are expected to be 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT.

Talking about the features, features like 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, roof-mounted AC vents and push-button start can be found. However, some premium features may be left out to keep the price affordable.
