Mother And Daughter Were Living In India For 30 Years With The Help Of Fake Documents Then Registered

On February 14, in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, the police have registered a case against a Pakistani national mother and daughter for living illegally on the basis of fake Indian documents for almost 30 years. According to the police, sections related to forgery, cheating, use of fake documents and criminal intimidation have been imposed on both of them.

According to Meerut Police, this FIR was registered on the complaint of complainant social worker Rukhsana. The complaint states that Saba Masood alias Nazi alias Nazia and her daughter Aiman ​​Farhat obtained Indian identity cards fraudulently, although they are Pakistani citizens. It is alleged that both of them got Aadhar Card, Voter ID Card and Indian Passport made through fake documents.

SSP Avinash Pandey told the media that he had received information about Farhat Masood living in Delhi Gate area. It was told that he had gone to Pakistan, where he married a woman named Saba. The couple had a daughter, Aiman, born on 25 May 1993 in Pakistan. According to the police, preliminary investigation confirmed that both of them do not have valid Indian citizenship and a formal FIR has been registered after finding prima facie facts in the allegations. A detailed investigation has been ordered.

The FIR has invoked sections 318(4), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 351(2) and 352 of the Indian Code of Justice, 2023, which relate to cheating, forgery, use of fake documents and criminal intimidation. According to the complaint, Aiman ​​had entered India from Pakistan on his mother’s Pakistani passport, which clearly mentioned his name and date of birth. Despite this, both of them did not obtain Indian citizenship through the legal process.

The complainant alleges that Aiman ​​received her education locally, while she remained a Pakistani citizen and never completed a valid citizenship application. It is also alleged that fake documents were prepared for Aiman ​​to get an Indian passport. Saba allegedly got two different voter ID cards made in two different names, Saba Masood and Nazia Masood.

National security concerns are also mentioned in the FIR. The complaint states that Saba’s father Hanif Ahmed is allegedly associated with ISI. It is alleged that the mother and daughter traveled to Pakistan and other countries several times on the basis of fake passports. It has also been claimed that she kept visiting the Army Headquarters and other government offices in Delhi, hiding her real identity.

The complainant has also alleged that when he first raised his objection, he was intimidated citing political influence and contacts in the police administration. Police have said that considering the seriousness of the matter, detailed investigation is going on and legal action is being taken.
