Bank Holidays This Week: This week, bank holidays are generating a lot of enthusiasm among customers and businesses. If you have significant banking activities planned, such as clearing checks, making cash deposits, drafting, or visiting branches, it’s crucial to be aware of the days when banks will be closed. Holidays can differ across states due to festivals, regional festivities, and weekends, so make sure to consult your local holiday schedule.
While digital banking options like net banking, UPI, and mobile applications typically remain available, branch services may be impacted on holidays. Thus, it’s advisable to organize your essential transactions ahead of time to prevent any last-minute issues.

In addition to special holidays in these states, banks will be closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month, as per Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines. Customers are advised to plan their transactions accordingly. While branches will remain closed, digital banking services such as ATMs, mobile apps, UPI, and online banking will remain operational, allowing fund transfers, bill payments, and other routine tasks.
However, services that require a physical branch visit, such as large cash deposits, check clearance, or demand drafts, will not be available on these holidays. Planning ahead and using digital banking tools can help customers avoid last-minute hassles and manage important financial tasks with ease.
