This meeting was called to fill 19 posts of promoted IAS on the basis of vacancies of the year 2024. According to sources, consensus has been reached on 15 of these names, whereas due to allegations and controversy on some names for four posts, the decision is currently kept under consideration. A total of 225 posts of IAS are sanctioned in Jharkhand cadre. At present only 175 officers are working. If 15 new promoted officers are added, this number will increase to 190.
