This time South Eastern Railway decided to run special train to Digha during Dol. As a result, tourists will not have any problem in visiting Dole beach town Digha. Meanwhile, East Medinipur Press Club has been organizing Dol Utsav at Digha beach since last year. This time Dol Utsav has been organized in Old Digha. Tourists can also easily participate in this swing festival. Dol festival is organized from morning to evening. As a result, Press Club’s Dol Utsav is an extra charge to tourists visiting Digha.
Meanwhile, the duration of Digha-Panchkura special train (Holi Special Train) has been extended for 90 consecutive days. Passengers are happy with this decision of the railway. The special train will run till May 16 this year. It was introduced during the inauguration of the Jagannath Temple in Digha keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers. Since the train has started, the travel of tourists has become much easier. According to railway sources, the number of passengers is increasing continuously. That is why it has been decided to extend the deadline. Holi season is ahead. After that, the secondary and higher secondary exams will also be over in a few days. After the exam, tourists will flock to Digha. Considering all aspects, the time has been extended from February 16 to May 16. Tourists will benefit from this decision.
The 08117 Up Special train departs from Panshkura station at 7 am every day. Reached Digha on time at 9:20 AM. 08118 Down special train leaves Digha at 9:30 AM. It reaches Panshkura at 11:50 am. As a result, it is easy to return after visiting the sea in the morning.
Commuters of the district are also relieved. The 08117 Up Special train departs from Panshkura station at 7 am every day. Reached Digha on time at 9:20 AM. It is very convenient for passengers. Both office passengers and tourists are using this train. As a result, the crowd is increasing on holidays. So the demand of this train is increasing day by day. On the other hand, the 08118 down special train leaves Digha at 9:30 am. It reaches Panshkura at 11:50 am. As a result, it is easy to return after visiting the sea in the morning.
