Supaul. DM Sawan Kumar conducted a surprise inspection of Block cum Zonal Office Raghopur. During the inspection, he took detailed stock of all the departments of the block office and zonal office.
The DM also inspected the new building being constructed in the block premises and if irregularities and negligence were found in the construction work, he reprimanded the concerned officer and directed for immediate investigation. He also expressed his displeasure when the cement material was not scanned.
The DM gave strict instructions to the BDO and CO that the building construction work should be done in their direct presence. During this, he inspected all other departments including RTPS counter, CSC counter and also talked to some complainants present on the spot.
Talking to the media, DM Sawan Kumar said that he had received complaints that many employees do not come to office on time. On this basis, surprise inspection was conducted. Only two employees were found present during the inspection. Due to being absent on time, one day salary of 9 employees has been stopped and administrative action will be taken against all of them.
Regarding the construction of the building, he directed the concerned executive to reach the spot and inspect the work. BDO Satendra Kumar, Circle Officer Rashmi Priya and RO Akanksha Kumari were present during the inspection.
