How to make Beetroot Cutlet
Beetroot cutlet is a great dish as a snack. To prepare this, first of all add grated beetroot and mashed potatoes in a big bowl. Add onion, green chilli, ginger-garlic paste, salt, red chilli and garam masala to it. Mix everything well.
Now add breadcrumbs so that the mixture binds. Make small balls from the prepared mixture and give them round or oval shape. If you want, roll them lightly in breadcrumbs, this will make the cutlets more crunchy.
Heat some oil in a pan. Place the cutlets on medium flame and cook until golden and crispy on both sides. Keep in mind that not much oil is needed. If you want, you can also make them in air fryer.
Serve hot beetroot cutlets with green chutney or tomato sauce. It can also be used as a burger patty. This is also a healthy option for children’s tiffin.
