Be careful if you are fond of drinking tea, one mistake can cause cancer; Know how hot tea becomes deadly…

In India, tea is a habit related to people’s daily routine and emotions. Be it to start the morning or to get rid of the tiredness of the day, most people rely on tea. In many homes, the day is considered incomplete without tea. But if this tea is consumed too hot, it can become a serious threat to health.

Hot tea causes damage to the food pipe

Scientific studies have found that regularly drinking extremely hot beverages—especially those at 65 degrees Celsius or higher—can cause damage to the esophagus. Repeatedly swallowing very hot liquids can burn the inner lining of this tube, causing inflammation (chronic inflammation) and cell mutations. In the long run these changes can take the form of cancer.

Cancer risk may increase

The World Health Organization (WHO) has also warned that regular consumption of drinks hotter than 65 degrees Celsius can increase the risk of esophageal cancer. There are two main types of esophageal cancer—esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and esophageal adenocarcinoma. The first type is usually found in the upper part of the trachea and is associated with hot drinks and tobacco use. The second type occurs in the lower part of the esophagus and is often related to obesity or chronic acidity.

The problem is not the tea but the temperature.

The thing to note is that tea itself is not harmful, but its excessive heating creates problems. The same applies to coffee, soup or any hot beverage. Ayurveda also recommends that food and drinks should neither be too hot nor too cold. According to the Ayurvedic view, lukewarm drinks can be helpful in digestion, but excessively hot things can increase the risk of inflammation and other diseases by increasing pitta in the body.

These signs are signs of serious illness

If a person experiences symptoms like difficulty swallowing, persistent sore throat, pain while swallowing or rapid weight loss without any reason, these should not be taken lightly. Such signs may indicate serious illness. It is very important to consult a doctor in time, because early detection often proves to be the most effective way to prevent major diseases.
