A case of assault on a disabled woman has come to light in Kamalpur village of the police station area. The victim’s side has filed a complaint in the police station regarding the incident and demanded action. The police have registered a complaint and started investigating the matter.

According to the information, Shobha Sagar, wife of Ish Kumar, resident of village Kamalpur, told in the complaint given in Bewar police station that on Saturday, a named person from the village abused her disabled mother-in-law, Kasturi Devi, wife of Jant Singh. When the family protested against this, the accused allegedly started assaulting her.

The victim’s side alleges that during the assault the accused also threatened to kill her. There is an atmosphere of panic in the family after the incident. Shobha Sagar has demanded the police to take strict action against the accused, so that this type of incident does not happen again in future.

There is anger in the village due to this incident with a disabled woman. Villagers say that this type of behavior with weak and helpless people is condemnable and strict action should be taken against the culprit.
