Top gainers among Nifty 50 stocks in midday trades today, Feb 17: Infosys up 4.3%, HCL Tech jumps 3.1%, ITC surge 2.4%

Indian equity benchmarks traded marginally higher in midday action on February 17. The NIFTY stood at 25,732.60, up 49.85 points or 0.19%, while the SENSEX rose 253.30 points or 0.30% to 83,530.45. BANKNIFTY advanced 0.32% to 61,146.55, and MIDCPNIFTY gained 0.26% to 13,677.25.

Among Nifty 50 constituents, technology and select large-cap names led the gains during the session.

Infosys rose 4.3% to close at ₹1,424.4 during midday trade, emerging as the top performer.

HCL Technologies gained 3.1%, trading at ₹1,507.2.

ITC moved up 2.4% to ₹325.5.

Wipro advanced 2.1% to ₹217.7.

Tech Mahindra added 1.9%, quoting at ₹1,540.9.

Tata Consultancy Services climbed 1.6% to ₹2,750.6.

Asian Paints increased 1.5% to ₹2,433.5.

Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone rose 1.4% to ₹1,561.5.

Titan Company gained 1.2% to ₹4,230.3.

Bajaj Auto was up 1.2% at ₹9,809.5.

The midday rally was largely led by information technology stocks, with multiple IT heavyweights featuring among the top gainers.
