Desk: On Tuesday, the special surveillance team took a major action in Bihar and arrested the District Agriculture Officer of Muzaffarpur and his driver red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 50 thousand. After this action of the surveillance department, there was a stir in the administrative department.

Actually, a written complaint was given to the monitoring department by a complainant. In which it was alleged that Himanshu Kumar, who is posted as Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer cum In-charge District Agriculture Officer, Muzaffarpur, is demanding a bribe of Rs 50,000 by threatening to cancel the license of the fertilizer shop in the name of investigation. The complaint also said that this amount was to be taken through his driver Rambabu Rai.

After receiving the complaint, SVU conducted a confidential investigation and verification of the matter, in which the allegations were found to be true. After this, a special raid team was formed under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police Bindeshwar Prasad and Surveillance DSP Sudhir Kumar. The team laid the trap in a planned manner and carried out the action today as per the plan.
