High Court lawyer accused of dragging young man on bonnet of car, ruckus in police station for hours

Jharkhand News: A big controversy arose after a road accident in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. When Ranchi High Court advocate Manoj Tandon was detained by the police in an accident case, a large number of lawyers reached Doranda police station and demonstrated fiercely. On the other hand, the family members of the victim youth also reached the police station and started demanding strict action. High voltage drama continued in the police station for a long time.

what is the allegation

It is alleged that there was a collision between the expensive car of advocate Manoj Tandon and the bike of a young man. The victim youth, Nawaz Khan, who works in a private company, was returning from dropping his brother at the board examination centre. Then his bike collided with a car on the way, due to which the bike was damaged.

Asking for compensation was costly

According to the victim’s mother, her son asked for compensation for the damage caused by the car, on which an argument started between the two. It is alleged that during the argument the youth grabbed the bonnet of the car. After this the lawyer did not stop the car and kept dragging the young man on the bonnet for a long distance. During this time the young man also made a video and kept shouting to stop the car, but the car was not stopped.

Police engaged in investigation

The family members also allege that the young man was later taken to a flat, where some people beat him up. The victim’s mother has lodged a complaint with the police in this matter and has demanded justice. Meanwhile, on this entire matter, DSP PK Mishra said that the police is waiting for the written complaint. After receiving the complaint, the matter will be investigated and appropriate action will be taken. At present the police is collecting information about the entire case and both the parties are being interrogated.
