Calendar of 46595 posts released for BPSC TRE 4 Teacher Recruitment 2026, know when will the exam be held and when will the result come?

There is a big and important news for lakhs of youth who are dreaming of becoming government teachers in Bihar. Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the complete schedule of the fourth phase teacher recruitment examination (TRE-4). As per the revised exam calendar released by the Commission on 17 February 2026, the TRE-4 exam will be conducted from 22 September to 27 September 2026. A total of 46,595 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment process.

The Commission has not only announced the dates of the examination but has also given the probable date of the result. According to the calendar, the result of the examination will be declared in November 2026. However, the Commission has clarified that all these dates are tentative at present, but this announcement has given a clear indication of the recruitment process moving forward.

Which level of teachers will be recruited?

This recruitment drive is an important step to strengthen the education system of the state. Under this, teachers will be appointed from primary to higher secondary level. These include:

• Primary Teacher (Class 1 to 5)
• Middle School Teacher (Class 6 to 8)
• Secondary Teacher (Class 9-10)
• Higher Secondary Teacher (Class 11-12)

The candidates selected on these posts will be appointed in the schools under the Education Department and Scheduled Caste/Tribe Welfare Department of the Government of Bihar. This recruitment will be helpful in removing the long standing shortage of teachers in the state.

Important information for candidates

BPSC has listed TRE-4 as a one stage written examination (Only Written). Candidates are advised to wait for the official notification for detailed information related to the recruitment. It is believed that the detailed notification for this recruitment may be released in March 2026, in which all the information like application dates, educational qualification, age limit and examination pattern will be given.

The application process will be completely online and will be accepted through the official website of BPSC only. Candidates should start preparing for the exam now, as it will test general studies as well as subject-specific knowledge.
