Board examinations of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council started, Minister Gulab Devi welcomed
Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council High school and intermediate board examinations started in the entire state from Wednesday. Minister of State for Secondary Education (Independent Charge) on the first day rose goddess Reaching the examination center at Government Girls Inter College, Jiyamau, he welcomed the students by presenting them flowers and encouraged them.
The Minister said that earlier the copying mafia used to be active, but copying cannot even be imagined in the present government. If any irregularity is found, strict action will be taken. He wished all the best to the candidates and said that they are the future of the country and should take the examination without any stress.
During this, the examination center was inspected and the arrangements were taken stock. The girl students were encouraged by giving them vaccination and feeding them Peda.
According to Director of Secondary Education Mahendra Dev, the examinations for the year 2026 will be held from 18 February to 12 March. In the first shift, the High School Hindi and Elementary Hindi exams are being conducted from 8:30 to 11:45 am, while in the second shift, the Intermediate Hindi and General Hindi exams will be held from 2:00 to 5:15 pm.
8,033 examination centers have been set up across the state, which includes 596 government, 3,453 aided and 3,984 private schools. A total of 53,37,778 candidates are appearing in the board exam this year.
According to State Control Room in-charge Joint Education Director Vivek Nautiyal, arrangements have been made for live online monitoring and webcasting of all the examination centers of 75 districts from the hi-tech control room located in Lucknow, so that the examination can be conducted in a fair and transparent manner.
