Lucknow. The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to launch an ambitious scheme for economic empowerment of women and increasing technical efficiency. The state government is soon going to launch the Women AI Mission, which aims to train women in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data analytics. This will boost the employment and self-employment possibilities of women in the state.

The government has planned that more than one crore women will be trained by 2047. Under this, trained women will be able to find employment in various technical and data-related companies at the local level. It has already been announced to build AI City in Lucknow, so that the state can be developed as a digital and technological centre.

Digital platforms, existing AI lab networks and PPP models will be used to train women. In this, cooperation of companies like Google, Meta and Open AI will be taken. The state IT and Electronics Department has taken responsibility for this. Apart from this, AI centers will be established at divisional and district level, where women will get practical training.
Women Industry Center and Investment Scheme
The government has also proposed to set up special Stree Udyog Center for women. These centers will provide a safe and structured environment for women entrepreneurs and technology professionals. Under the scheme, a total investment of Rs 50,000 crore has been targeted to increase the participation of women in the IT and AI sector.
Opportunities will increase for women in the state
This mission of UP government will give opportunities to women to contribute actively in various industries. This will increase participation of women in the IT and AI sector of the state, encourage the emergence of new companies and startups and create new employment opportunities.
