So far, seven teams have officially advanced to the Super 8 stage. These teams are:

South Africa

Both the co-hosts, India and Sri Lanka, have comfortably booked their places in the next round.
Group-wise qualification details
Group B: Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe advanced, while Australia were eliminated after the Zimbabwe vs. Ireland match was abandoned due to rain.
Group C: West Indies and England ensured qualification with consistent good performances.
Group D: South Africa and New Zealand advanced after good performances in their respective matches.
Group A: Pakistan under pressure
Now all eyes are on Group A, where a place in the Super 8 is still undecided. India has already qualified from this group, but the competition for the second place is tough.
Right now, both Pakistan and USA have four points each. However, Pakistan is far behind in terms of net run rate, due to which it is in trouble.
What will Pakistan have to do?
Pakistan’s last group-stage match is against Namibia on 18 February.
If Pakistan wins, it will qualify for the Super 8.
If Namibia beats Pakistan, USA will create history by reaching the Super 8 stage.
