Mayawati said – Workers should start preparing for the elections by walking like an elephant, BSP will fight alone in UP assembly elections 2027.

Lucknow. Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Wednesday announced to contest the UP Assembly Elections 2027 alone. He has termed all the ongoing discussions regarding the alliance as completely misleading and baseless. Mayawati has appealed to the party workers not to pay attention to the ‘counter news’ related to the alliance and get involved in the election preparations by walking ‘elephantly’.

Like 2007, Mayawati’s target is to form a government with full majority of BSP in the state. Along with this, he also clarified about the Type-8 bungalow allotted to him in Delhi and said that it has been allotted from security point of view. Mayawati has advised the opponents not to spread any wrong information regarding the bungalow.

Stop on alliance speculations

Mayawati said that the news of BSP joining hands with any other party is just an attempt to spread confusion. He said that such discussions are being deliberately run so as to divert the attention of the workers. He clearly said that the party believes in its own strength and will contest the elections without any crutch.

Appealing to the workers to follow the ‘elephant gait’, Mayawati while instilling enthusiasm in the cadre said that the workers do not need to be influenced by the false propaganda of the opponents. He raised the slogan that the party has to repeat the history of 2007. He has asked the workers to go to the grassroots level and work with the determination to connect the people with the policies of BSP and form a government with full majority.

Clarification given on allotment of bungalow in Delhi

Mayawati took a tough stand on the discussions going on regarding the new government bungalow found in Delhi. He told that he has been allotted a Type-8 bungalow due to security reasons and as per protocol. He clarified that there is nothing unusual in this and it is wrong to spread any kind of misleading information regarding this.
