UP Board Exam 2026: Candidates were welcomed by showering flowers and tilak at UP Board exam centers.

Lucknow. The 10th and 12th board examinations of Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education are starting from Wednesday. For this, students have started reaching the examination center from 7.15 in the morning. High school examinations are being held in the first shift which started at 8.30 in the morning. The first question paper is of Hindi.

Before this, on reaching the examination centre, the candidates were welcomed by showering flowers at Kali Charan Inter College, Lucknow. After this they were checked and given entry. It is mandatory for the candidates to carry Aadhar card along with the admit card. There is a ban on bringing any kind of electronic gadget or smart watch. On this occasion, Minister of State for Secondary Education Gulab Devi congratulated the candidates. He met the candidates at the Government Girls Inter College Jiyamau Examination Center and along with welcoming the candidates, appealed to them to take the examination stress-free.

District level control room established at Jubilee Inter College in Lucknow

A district level control room has been set up in Government Jubilee Inter College to monitor the examination centres. The candidates who came here to take the examination were welcomed. DIOS Rakesh Kumar said that adequate number of computers and staff have been installed here. If any kind of problem is faced by the students, it will be resolved immediately. Let us tell you that 1,03,088 candidates are appearing for the examination in the capital Lucknow. These will include 51,907 high school students and 51,181 intermediate students. To monitor the examination, 121 centres, outlying centers and static magistrates have been put on duty. More than 8000 cameras and more than 4000 room inspectors have been deployed. Morning shift examination has started.

146 examination centers were set up in Sitapur, students were given admission after vaccination.

146 examination centers have been created in Sitapur district for UP Board examination. There is a Hindi question paper in high school in the first shift on the first day. About 51 thousand students are participating in it. 6 mobile teams have left for the examination centres. To conduct cheating-free examination, the district has been divided into 7 zones and 12 sectors. The students were vaccinated and allowed inside. There is a lot of curiosity among the students. However, security personnel were seen missing at many examination centers in the morning.

A total of 8033 examination centers were created in UP.

A total of 53,37,778 candidates are registered this year, which includes 27,61,696 high school students and 25,76,082 intermediate students. To conduct the examinations in a completely cheating, transparent and well-organized manner, a total of 8033 examination centers have been created in the state, which includes 596 government, 3453 non-government aided and 3984 self-financed schools.

18 districts are sensitive, monitoring is being done from state level control room.

Minister of State for Secondary Education (Independent Charge) Gulab Devi inaugurated the state level control room established in the office of the Director of Education (Secondary), Lucknow Camp, on Tuesday before the examination. He said that as per the intention of the Chief Minister, this year the examination system has been made completely technology based and transparent. 18 districts have been declared sensitive, while 222 examination centers have been kept in the highly sensitive and 683 in the sensitive category. STF and local intelligence units at these centers will be kept active throughout the examination period and inspection of highly sensitive centers has been ensured twice a day.
