Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has opened up about the two biggest sources of inspiration in his life — his father Amitabh Bachchan and his 14-year-old daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.
In a recent interaction, Abhishek reflected on growing up in the shadow of a cinematic legend while carving his own path in the industry. He acknowledged that having Amitabh Bachchan as a father naturally brings immense inspiration.
“If you have Mr Amitabh Bachchan sleeping in the room above you, you don’t really need much more inspiration. He kind of fills all those voids,” he remarked.
Inspired by the younger generation
Interestingly, the actor also shared that he looks up to his daughter Aaradhya for her clarity and simplicity of thought. Speaking about the younger generation, he said he often feels they are more “sorted” and possess a perspective from which adults can learn.
“I get inspired by my father and my daughter. I think there is a simplicity and clarity of thought in the younger generation. There is a lot we can learn from them,” he added.
Abhishek’s remarks highlight a softer, personal side of the actor, who has often spoken about the importance of family in his life.
