Ranji Trophy 2025-26: Jammu and Kashmir team has secured its place in the final for the first time in the history of Ranji Trophy. The players of Jammu and Kashmir gave a spectacular performance and defeated Bengal in the semi-final match. Without any problem, the team won the match by 6 wickets and proudly secured its place in the final for the first time. Aaqib Nabi Dar was the hero for the team in this match. He took 9 wickets in his name while bowling deadly fast. Bengal batsmen were seen struggling in front of him.

Historic demonstration of Jammu and Kashmir continues

Jammu and Kashmir team seems to be in amazing form in this domestic season. All the players of the team are contributing while some players are continuously performing well. In this match, the team needed 126 runs to win in the fourth innings. The team did not face any problem in achieving this. Earlier, the team had defeated Madhya Pradesh by 56 runs in the quarter-final match.

The semi-final match was exciting

Batting first in this match, Bengal team scored 328 runs. Aaqib Nabi took 5 wickets for Jammu and Kashmir. After this, while batting, Jammu and Kashmir team scored 302 runs in the first innings. Abdul Samad played an excellent inning of 82 runs. In the second innings, the bowlers of Jammu and Kashmir seemed completely dominant over the batsmen of Bengal. The entire Bengal team was laid down like a pack of cards by Aaqib Nabi and Sunil Kumar. Both of them took 4-4 wickets in this innings. After this, Jammu and Kashmir did not face any problem in winning in the fourth innings.
