Which part of the apple contains poison?
Apple seeds contain a compound called amygdalin. It can release cyanide in the body if taken in large quantities. In general, the chances of harm from accidentally swallowing 1–2 apple seeds are very low. But chewing and eating large amounts of seeds can be dangerous. Therefore, it is better to remove the seeds while eating apples. Note: Apple pulp and peel are safe and nutritious; The only problem is with the excessive amount of seeds.
