It is believed that there may be an important meeting between Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat. The Sangh chief has reached Lucknow from Gorakhpur and this meeting is said to be possible among his programs.

Meeting can be held in Shishu Mandir

According to sources, this meeting can take place at Saraswati Shishu Mandir located in Nirala Nagar, Lucknow. This meeting is expected to take place around 8 pm on Wednesday evening. Although it has not been officially confirmed, political analysts are considering it important from the point of view of 2027 elections. Opposition parties are also keeping an eye on this possible meeting. It is believed that issues like election strategy, organizational coordination and activism of workers at the grassroots level can be discussed.

Sangh’s centenary year and increasing activism

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is currently organizing various programs to commemorate its 100th year. Mohan Bhagwat is participating in dialogue programs in different parts of the state. In his recent addresses he has emphasized the need for a harmonious society. The Sangh chief has expressed concern over the declining population of Hindus and has called for a ban on religious conversions being done by force or by luring. He also said that the process of ‘ghar wapsi’ of those who voluntarily want to come back to Hinduism should be expedited. Besides, emphasis has also been laid on balanced population for the stability of the society.

In such a situation, the possible meeting between Chief Minister Yogi and the Sangh chief is being seen as a coordination between the organization and the government.
