New Delhi. Before attending the AI ​​Impact Summit, Google CEO Sundar Pichai met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday and discussed the development of AI in India. Regarding this meeting, Prime Minister Modi posted on the social media platform ‘X’ and said, ‘It was a very pleasant experience to meet Sundar Pichai on the side line of the AI ​​Impact Summit organized in Delhi.

We discussed the work India is doing in the AI ​​field and how Google can collaborate with our talented students and professionals in this field. At present, Pichai has come to Delhi to participate in the India AI Impact Summit 2026. His main address at the summit is proposed on 20 February.

Earlier, Pichai had posted on social media platform ‘X’, ‘It feels great to be back in India for the AI ​​Impact Summit.’ On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the inaugural address on February 19 at the India AI Impact Summit 2026, which will give direction to India’s vision for global collaboration and inclusive and responsible AI.

More than 20 heads of state and government and more than 100 government representatives including 60 ministers and deputy ministers are participating in this summit. Additionally, over 500 global AI leaders including CEOs, founders, academics, researchers, CTOs and philanthropic organizations will also be attending.

India AI Impact Summit 2026 reinforces India’s role as a leading platform to shape the global AI agenda. Based on the seven cycles and three threads of people, planet and progress, the summit develops a growth-oriented framework for AI.
