Now, after the issue was raised by the Leader of the Opposition, Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana has issued instructions to the officials to receive the calls of the public representatives while respecting them. Strict action will be taken if orders are not followed.

Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana, in his decision given under Rule 300, asked the Parliamentary Affairs Minister to issue instructions and clarify that compliance with the orders issued earlier by the government should be ensured. Non-compliance will result in strict disciplinary action. Non-compliance of instructions by officers is a violation of their service rules.
On Tuesday, Leader of Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey had said in the Legislative Assembly that the executive is interfering in the jurisdiction of the legislature and the judiciary. The Leader of Opposition had said that the judiciary, executive and legislature all have their own jurisdiction. All three should not interfere in each other’s work. At present the executive is dominating the legislature. The judiciary is being influenced at some places.
Even the instructions given from the legislature’s bench are not ensured to be followed by the executive. This is objectionable. He had said that MLAs are not given proper respect by the authorities and they are not even heard. Besides this, they also do not receive phone calls from MLAs.
