Sahibzada Farhan scored a century
In this match, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first and their decision proved to be correct. Opener Sahibzada Farhan, who came to start the innings, presented a tremendous example of batting. He has played a stormy inning of 100 unbeaten runs with the help of 11 fours and 4 sixes in 58 balls. On the basis of Farhan’s century, Pakistan scored 199 runs after losing 3 wickets in 20 overs.

Namibian batsmen kneeled down
Namibia, which set out to chase the huge target of 199 runs, did not have a good start. Lauren Steenkamp did put up some fight by scoring 23 runs, but John Frylink, who came to support her, could score only 9 runs. Alexander Voloshenko, who came to bat at number five, scored 20 runs in 20 balls and he too could not prolong his innings. No batsman from Namibia was able to make an impact and the team kept losing wickets at regular intervals. The result was that the entire team collapsed for only 97 runs in 17.3 overs.

The bowlers from Pakistan performed brilliantly. Usman Tariq bowled lethally and took 4 wickets for 16 runs in 3.3 overs and broke the back of Namibia. Shadab Khan also took 3 important wickets by spending 19 runs in 4 overs and on the basis of this strong performance, Pakistan won the match by 102 runs and entered the Super-8.
