New Bharat Army will be seen in T20 World Cup anthem, title track of Prime Video will be released
Delhi. Bharat Army features in Prime Video’s promotional track “The Lalla Anthem – A Warning from Subedar”, which was released during the ongoing T20 World Cup as India prepare for the Super 8 stage. According to a media release, in the anthem, members of the Bharat Army along with actor Anil Kapoor, actor Radhika Madan, former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh and sports presenter Shefali Bagga are seen raising slogans, playing drums and doing scenes in support of the fans. This collaboration highlights the contribution of organized supporters in creating atmosphere during major cricket events.
Rakesh Patel, Founder of Bharat Army, said that cricket shows passion and belief for the group, and being a part of the anthem reflects the same sense of unity and pride that they bring to the stadium while supporting Team India.
The supporters group is expected to attend India’s Super 8 match against South Africa in Ahmedabad on February 22 as part of their travel programme, and will maintain their presence at various venues during the tournament.
The anthem is composed by music duo Rohan-Vinayak, written by Rishi Upadhyay and sung by Vishal Dadlani. The track is part of the promotion of the upcoming action-drama film Subedaar, also starring Anil Kapoor, Radhika Madan, Saurabh Shukla, Aditya Rawal and Mona Singh, and is directed by Suresh Triveni. The film is scheduled to premiere on March 5 on Prime Video.
