Firing at Rohit Shetty’s house, Mumbai Police made a big revelation
Police have made significant progress in the case of firing at the residence of famous film producer **Rohit Shetty** in Mumbai. The incident occurred at around 12:45 am on **February 1** in Juhu area, when several rounds of bullets were fired towards the first floor of his nine-storey building. During the firing, a bullet also hit the glass of the gym located in the complex. After this incident, security was increased in the area, and the police immediately started investigation.
Weapon used in firing recovered, forensic investigation continues
The Crime Branch of Mumbai Police has recovered the weapon used in the firing. According to the police, this weapon has been recovered from the accused shooter. Now it has been sent to **Forensic Science Lab** for ballistic testing to confirm that the bullet was fired from this weapon. **Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act** (MCOCA) has been invoked in this case.
Number of arrests increased, main shooter also included
Police have so far arrested 12 accused, including the main shooter **Deepak Sharma**. Some of the arrested accused have been caught from Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Pune. According to the investigating agencies, the aim of this attack was to harm the film producer and spread fear. Police informed that some accused had provided scooters and other necessary materials to the shooter. All the arrested accused have been produced in the MCOCA court, where one of the accused stated in the court that his statement was taken under duress.
Name of Lawrence Bishnoi gang revealed
Investigation has also found that **Shubham Lonkar**, a member of **Lawrence Bishnoi Gang**, has taken responsibility for this firing. The police is investigating this entire matter in depth. Currently, the security of Rohit Shetty and his family has been further increased. Police say that strict action will be taken against the accused.
