Counterattack on Akhilesh Yadav’s statement: “The elephant will move its cool move”
For the last few days, discussions about alliance were intensified due to the statements of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav about ‘deepening relations’ with BSP. Mayawati rejected these reports outright and called it a conspiracy by her opponents. He said, “Such discussions are misleading and are being spread to break the morale of the workers. We do not need to go with anyone, BSP will form a government with full majority on its own like in 2007.” He appealed to the workers to continue their ‘elephant walk’ and not fall prey to the false propaganda of their opponents.
Controversy over Type-8 bungalow: Security told the real reason
Mayawati also openly expressed her views on the questions being raised regarding the ‘Type-8’ bungalow allotted in Delhi. He made it clear that this bungalow is not a political benefit, but is a requirement for his Z+ security. Mayawati said, “Due to security reasons, I had given up many of the bungalows I had got earlier as there were no arrangements as per the protocol. The bungalow allotted to me now is right from the point of view of my security.” He advised his opponents not to do politics on this issue.
Resolve to repeat the history of 2007
BSP supremo told the workers ‘Mission 2027’ Giving a mantra for the same, he said that as the elections approach, the opposition parties will try to suppress the voice of Dalits and the underprivileged by using Sama-Daam-Dand-Bheda. He appealed to the ‘Ambedkarites’ of the entire country to unite and said that only by devoting body, mind and money can the teeth of the opponents be defeated. This stand of Mayawati makes it clear that the fight for 2027 is going to be ‘triangular’ this time.
