PM Kisan 22nd Installment News: Millions of farmers across the country once again Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Eagerly waiting for the next installment of the scheme. Under this ambitious scheme of the central government, eligible farmers are given a financial assistance of ₹6,000 per year. The biggest question is whether the installment will release in February. New information has emerged from the government regarding the date of next installment of ₹2,000. The amount is expected to be transferred to farmers’ accounts in February 2026. There is talk that the next installment may be released after 25 February 2026.

When will the 22nd installment be released?

The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has not yet announced the official date of the 22nd installment. However, it is speculated that this installment may be released in the last week of February or early March 2026. It may be noted that the 21st installment was earlier transferred to farmers’ accounts on 19 November 2025. It is estimated that the next installment may be released soon considering the time frame. Farmers are advised to check their e-KYC, bank account and Aadhaar linking status in advance to avoid any problem in getting installment.

Why e-KYC is necessary for farmers?

The government has made e-KYC mandatory in the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana to ensure transparency and weed out fraudulent beneficiaries. Farmers who do not complete the e-KYC process may experience delays or delays in receiving their next installment. Hence, it is very important to update their KYC on time so that the installment of ₹2,000 can be deposited directly into their account without any interruption.

How to complete e-KYC?

The e-KYC process is very simple and can be completed both online and offline:

Online method

  • Visit Official PM Kisan Website
  • Click on ‘E-KYC’ option.
  • Enter your Aadhaar number.
  • Enter the OTP received on your Aadhaar-linked mobile number to verify.

Offline method

If verification through OTP is not possible, farmers can visit their nearest Common Service Center (CSC) and complete e-KYC through biometrics. This amount is divided into three equal installments, i.e. ₹2,000 every four months directly transferred to their bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
