Desk: A serious case of rape of a two and a half year old innocent girl has come to light in a village in Saharsa district of Bihar. The incident is said to have happened on Tuesday around 3.30 pm. There is an atmosphere of anger in the village after this incident came to light. The victim’s father told in Sadar Hospital Saharsa that his daughter was playing in the field. During this time, some person seduced her and took her with him and she was raped. The family members are in shock after the incident and they are demanding strict punishment against the accused.

According to family members, the girl was found in an unconscious state. A person named Mazhar found the girl in a critical condition near the fields, after which he informed the family members and took the girl to the hospital. The victim’s father has accused Rajkumar Sharma of the same village. As soon as the information about the case was received, police officers reached the spot. FSL team has also been called to the spot and evidence is being collected. The police say that strict action will be taken against the accused.
Police registered the case and started investigation

DSP Ajit Kumar said that preliminary investigation seems to confirm rape. The girl is conscious, but due to serious injuries, doctors have referred her for better treatment. The police have taken the accused into custody and further legal process is underway. Officials say that all aspects of the case are being investigated.
