PM Narendra Modi on Shivaji Jayanti: Today, on the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the whole country is celebrating ‘Hindavi Swarajya’ Paying tribute to the founder of. Every year, 19 February is celebrated with great pomp across the country including Maharashtra as the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. On this occasion, many leaders of the country including Prime Minister Narendra Modi remembered him and paid tribute to his glorious role.

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to him. PM Modi paid tribute to the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and his indomitable courage. He also shared a post on his social media accounts.
PM Modi tweeted and wrote, ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj always kept the welfare of the people paramount and dedicated himself for their safety. That’s why his life remains a guiding light for India even today.”
He also shared Subhashit, “Gopayitaram dataram dharmanityamatandritam. अकामद्वेषसंयुक्तमनुरज्यान्ति मनवाह.”
It says, “People love only that public representative, who considers their safety as his duty, is engaged in public welfare, is religious, just and always alert and who rises above attachments like desire and hatred and runs the state impartially.”
