Dr. Ambedkar Forum supported UGC Act 2026
Sultanpur – Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Advocate Forum today demonstrated in support of the UGC Act 2026. Forum members submitted a memorandum to City Magistrate Preeti Jain, demanding full implementation of this law.
Forum President Jhinku Ram Vishwakarma said that the UGC Act 2026 is capable of removing the discrimination and inequality prevalent among the students pursuing higher education. He called it a progressive and effective law, which will ensure the right to equality.
Vishwakarma said, “Our demand is that this law should be fully implemented. This is a good and effective law to eliminate discrimination and bring equality among the higher education students of the country, which needs to be implemented continuously in the national interest.”
He also mentioned the stay imposed by the court and said that the government has the power to reconsider or reverse the court orders by calling the House. Vishwakarma stressed that the government should take this step in the national interest and students’ interest. He described the protesters as having a ‘special mentality’ and said that the forum stands in favor of equality.
This memorandum was sent to His Excellency the President of India through City Magistrate Preeti Jain. On this occasion, Advocates Ashok Acharya, Shiv Prakash Maurya, Shobhavati, Mohit Yadav Advocate, Ram Sajeevan Yadav Advocate, Shweta Advocate, Namita Advocate, Ramesh Chandra Gupta Advocate, Karmendra Gautam Advocate, Poonam, Satya Prakash Advocate, Chandan Bhim, Surya Prakash, Surya Yadav and Ramprakash Many advocates including Maurya were present.
