Logan Paul & Tom Brady trade barbs over ‘athleticism’ ahead of Saudi Arabia showdown
Tom Brady’s appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast stirred a new athleticism debate before an upcoming showdown in Saudi Arabia.
Paul claimed that he possesses the same athletic skills as those of elite NFL stars like Saquon Barkley.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady was quick to dismiss the claim, admitting that Paul is a “good athlete,” but there is no comparison with a professional football player.
Talking about wrestling, the NFL player humorously trolled the YouTuber-turned-wrestler, saying, “It’s cute. I love the WWE. It’s very cute. But honestly, this is like real football. These guys are on another level.”
However, Paul did not stay silent and took a jab at the NFL’s own style of play. He remarked, “I think in many ways, football is also ‘cute’ because I’m a boxer and you can put most NFL players and basketball players in a ring and they’ll get their asses kicked by real boxers.”
Showing self-confidence in his skills, the wrestler said, “If you put me and Tom Brady up against each other, I believe I would be more athletic than him in most sports.”
The rivalry between the two athletes will move from the podcast studio to the turf on March 21 at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in Riyadh.
Brady, who is going to lead the “Founder” team, signalled his intentions to dominate the game.
