Mumbai: Film actor Rajpal Yadav recently got interim bail from Delhi High Court and came out from behind the bars. After coming out of Tihar Jail in the check bounce case, Rajpal had also thanked the High Court. Now he has talked about improving the jail system. During this, he also made a strange demand. He said that there should be a separate smoking area in the jail.
Rajpal Yadav, who reached his native village Shahjahanpur, said, “Just like airports and railway stations, there should be a special place designated for smoking cigarettes in jail.” During this time he also said that the jail system should focus on reform and not just on punishment.
Rajpal Yadav said, “I have a humble request. In our country, we do not know who is a criminal and who is innocent. Jails should also be upgraded according to today’s times. There are many prisoners who have been sentenced, their conduct and behavior are being observed for the last 10 years. Someone has committed a mistake once and he is not a professional (criminal).” They say that even in Kaun Banega Crorepati, you get three life lines, so give them one life line too. Maybe these people can become the strength of the country. And if they don’t change then put them in jail.
Rajpal Yadav also said that he will not be able to talk to the media for the next two days because there is a marriage in his family. He said that his lawyers will answer questions related to the legal matter. He also said that he will remain an Indian citizen and will remain a voter of his village only. He said that for now I want to focus on earning money and not on seeking sympathy.
