India AI Impact Summit 2026 : India AI Impact Summit 2026 is being organized at Bharat Mandapam, Delhi. All the top tech experts from across the world have arrived to participate in this global event. During this period, India has made a record in its name. Union Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on Wednesday announced that India has successfully achieved the Guinness World Record for “receiving the most pledges for AI responsibility campaign in 24 hours”.

According to the official statement, India has won this title by receiving a total of 2,50,946 valid resolutions in a period of 24 hours on 16-17 February 2026. The IT Ministry informed that this nationwide AI Responsibility Pledge campaign was launched on February 16 in collaboration with Intel India under the India AI Mission, under which citizens were invited to pledge for ethical, inclusive and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence through the AIPledge.IndiaAI.Gov.in Portal.
The initiative encouraged participants to consider key principles such as data privacy, accountability, transparency and tackling misinformation through scenario-based questions, reinforcing India’s vision of building a trustworthy and human-centric AI ecosystem. Participants who completed the pledge received a digital badge and access to AI learning courses.
Addressing the media, Vaishnav lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of involving youth in responsible and ethical use of AI. He said, “It is their vision that inspired us to approach colleges, interact with teachers and students to pledge to use AI as a tool for the betterment of society, as a technology that improves our lives, and to ensure its responsible use.
