My Lord first-day collection left team worried; Sasikumar says he was confident of film’s success
Actor Sasikumar said that the team of My Lord was worried after seeing its average collection on the first day, but he was confident that word-of-mouth would bring more audience to watch the film.
Sasikumar addressed the thanksgiving event of My Lord, and opened up about its reach and said that its first-day collection was worrying. He said, “When we saw the first day’s collections, everyone felt a little worried. But I was confident. Everyone who watched the film said it was a good film. I had faith that it would definitely reach more people, and I’m happy that it has happened.
Sasikumar added, “The experience I had with Ayothi gave me that confidence. That film, too, picked up collections only in the second and third weeks. In the same way, I believe this film will also grow steadily. I have faith in the audience. The film will certainly reach where it is meant to.”

Meanwhile, the actor thanked director Raju Murugan and Suriya Sasikumar said, “As an actor, Raju Murugan has presented me in a completely different and beautiful light. I sincerely thank him for that. Likewise, I extend my heartfelt thanks to Suriya Sir and his team for watching the film and deciding to present it.”
My Lord features Chaithra Achar, Asha Sharath, Guru Somasundaram, Jayaprakash, Gopi Nainar, and Vasumithra. Jayanthi Ambethkumar has produced the film under the Olympia Films. The movie has Nirav Shah’s camera work, Sathyaraj Natarajan’s editing, and Muni Paulraj’s art direction.
