These roads of Delhi will be affected due to AI Summit! Traffic advisory issued

Today is the fourth day of the ongoing AI Impact Summit 2026 in Delhi, due to which special arrangements have been made regarding security and traffic arrangements in the capital. Due to this big international event, VVIP movement has increased, in view of which Delhi Traffic Police has issued a special traffic advisory from 5 pm to 9 pm. During this period, traffic on many major roads around Bharat Mandapam and Indira Gandhi International Airport may remain partially limited or affected.

Normal traffic likely to be affected

According to the traffic police, due to VVIP traffic, normal traffic is likely to be affected on many important routes of the capital. The roads that may be most affected include Sardar Patel Marg, Mother Teresa Crescent, Teen Murti Marg, Akbar Road, Janpath, Windsor Place, Tees January Marg, Prithviraj Road, Rajesh Pilot Marg, Subramaniam Bharti Marg, Mathura Road, Bhairon Marg, Shanti Path, Africa Avenue, Satya Marg, Dr. Zakir Hussain Marg, Gurugram Road and Parade Road. Restrictions can be imposed as necessary to control traffic in these areas.

For the convenience of passengers and to maintain smooth traffic, the police has advised to use several alternative routes. These include San Martin Marg, Panchsheel Marg, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Road, Kamal Ataturk Marg, Aurobindo Marg, Lodhi Road, Barapulla Road, Ring Road, Tilak Marg, Firoz Shah Road, Rafi Marg, Sansad Marg, K. Kamaraj Marg, South Avenue Road, Vande Mataram Marg, NH-48, Rao Tula Ram Marg, Old Delhi-Gurugram Road and service roads of UER-II and NH-48. Through these routes people can reach their destination relatively easily.

Delhi Traffic Police appeal

Delhi Traffic Police has appealed to the common citizens to get information about traffic advisory before leaving home and plan their journey accordingly. It is advised to avoid the affected routes, leave early and take extra time to avoid unnecessary delays.

Apart from this, drivers have also been requested to follow lane discipline and cooperate with the instructions of the traffic police. Police say that only with the cooperation of citizens, the traffic system can be managed in a better way during this big event and people will have to face minimum problems.
