Punch EV:- Power of big battery and strong range

The current Punch EV has two battery options of 25kWh and 35kWh. It is reported that now the smaller 25kWh battery pack can be removed and 35kWh can become the base variant.

Also, the company is preparing to provide another bigger battery pack. According to the teaser, the new Punch EV has covered a distance of 593.6 km in a single charge, which clearly indicates that this time there is going to be a big game in the battery. Brother, if it really gets 500+ km range then it will create a stir in the segment.

40kWh or 45kWh battery game

The new Punch EV can get the same 45kWh battery pack which Tata Nexon EV is given in. However, to balance the size and price of the car, there may also be an option of 40.5kWh battery.

If this happens then this small SUV will become a great choice for long distances also. You will be able to speed through the city as well as on the highway without any tension.

New twist in front look

There will be a slight but stylish change in the front design of the facelift model. LED DRLs will no longer be in the centre. Also, a new bumper and slightly larger headlamp housing will be provided.

Simply meaning – the car will look more modern and smarter than before. If she comes out on the road, people will turn and look at her.

You will get premium feel from the rear also

Connected tail lamp setup can be given in the rear, which will give it a more premium look. The design could be quite similar to the ICE Punch facelift.

This means that even from the rear the car will look absolutely stunning and up-to-date.

Interior and expected price

Major changes are not expected in the cabin as the Punch EV is already equipped with features like digital driver display, large infotainment system, multifunction steering wheel and physical controls. The seats could use a little more support and bolster.

Talking about the price, currently Punch EV comes between ₹ 9.99 lakh to ₹ 14.44 lakh (ex-showroom). Due to the new bigger battery pack and updates, its price may increase by ₹ 1 to ₹ 2 lakh.

If you want a long range electric SUV in the budget, then the new Tata Punch EV Facelift can prove to be a value for money deal for you.
