North west takes big step toward music career with new deal

North West, the eldest daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, is making serious moves to establish herself in the music industry at a young age. The 12-year-old has officially signed a deal with independent entertainment company Gamma, marking an important milestone in her growing career.

The company is led by former Apple executive Larry Jackson and already represents major artists, including Mariah Carey, Sexyy Red, and Snoop Dogg. North joining the roster highlights the confidence the label has in her potential as a young performer.

According to sources cited by Rolling Stone, North has already begun recording sessions in a professional studio under this new partnership. The early start suggests she is taking her musical ambitions seriously and actively working to develop her sound.

Gamma also has a professional connection with her father Kanye West, now legally known as Ye, through the release of his upcoming album Bully, further strengthening North’s ties to the music world.

In addition to focusing on her career, North is currently being homeschooled rather than attending a traditional school, allowing her more flexibility to pursue creative projects. Over the past year, she has steadily gained attention in the entertainment space, including releasing her recent track Piercing on My Hand earlier in February through Gamma. The song features production from Ye and producer Will Frenchman.

Beyond music, North is also stepping into the fashion business. She is preparing to launch her own brand, “NOR11,” with support from her mother Kim Kardashian, who has reportedly filed three new trademarks connected to the venture. The trademarks cover a wide range of products, including clothing, accessories, jewellery, handbags, watches, hats, and cosmetic cases.

With both music and fashion projects underway, North West appears to be following in her parents’ entrepreneurial footsteps while carving out her own identity in the entertainment industry at an unusually young age.
