Gold Silver Today Price: Rise in gold and silver after fall, know today’s latest price?

Gold Silver Today Price: Gold and silver prices continued to fluctuate even today. After the initial fall, prices are now increasing. Gold prices reached Rs 156,000 per ten grams and silver prices reached Rs 245,449 per kilogram.

What is the price of gold and silver?

Today, after the market opened on COMEX, gold and silver prices fell. Gold prices reached $4,986.20 per ounce and silver prices reached $76,770 per ounce. On the other hand, the prices of precious metals on MCX initially rose on Wednesday, but by the time the market closed, these prices turned into a decline. Yesterday, gold prices closed at Rs 155,686 per ounce and silver prices closed at Rs 242,520 per kg.

Profit booking showed its effect

The prices of gold and silver are going up and down now, but till January 29 they were continuously increasing. On January 29, gold prices reached Rs 1,80,000 per ten grams and silver prices reached Rs 4,20,000 per kilogram. In just about 20 days, gold fell by Rs 24,314 per ten grams and silver by Rs 1,77,480 per kilogram. As soon as the prices reached their highest level, investors did heavy profit-booking, which had an impact on the market.

To curb fluctuations in gold and silver prices, the Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) had earlier this month decided to impose extra margin on gold and silver. It has been withdrawn from today. Exchanges had decided to impose higher margins after sudden price fluctuations, but market volatility continues.

How much extra margin was applied?

Earlier this month, it was decided to impose an additional margin of 3% on gold futures and 7% on silver futures to curb increasing volatility in the commodity market. However, this decision has been withdrawn from today, Thursday.
